Paid STEM Internships in Southwest Colorado
Welcome to the website for the STEM Internship Program! The Program offers paid STEM internships in Southwest Colorado. We are excited to work with you. The Program is a nonprofit organization connecting high school students with businesses in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields.
The STEM Internship Program is unique in not only creating internship opportunities for high school students, but building into those jobs the ability to learn skills that students will retain into college and beyond. These jobs and skills are essential for a strong economy and skilled workforce.
Since December 2010, STEM has placed 17 students with paying internships in five counties (Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan). In 2011, the Program received an Innovation Award from the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) Research Foundation.
Applications are accepted at any time, but students must be at least 16 years old. Click below to find out more about requirements for applying to the Program, or email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
